I've been tackling my own house from the bathroom reno to my daughter's room, for years now. And trust me, every single job, no matter how perfect the final reveal, has its hidden accidents that got smoothed over. Honestly, almost a third of my time is spent unf***ing projects that other "handymen" swore they finished. I remember once, I was wrestling with anchoring a water pipe in my bathroom renovation, right there with my father-in-law (who's a legit carpentry worker).
