The Beehive Trail is the kind of hike people post for the views, but nobody tells you about the metal rungs that feel like a dare, or the way your hands shake halfway up when you realize you can’t turn back. I watched a couple ahead of me laugh for the camera, then freeze when the wind picked up. I kept thinking: if I slip, no one here knows my name. My phone had no service. I was sweating through my shirt, but the fear was sharper than the sun. I made it to the top, but the photo I took is still in my camera roll, unposted. Sometimes, the best view is just making it back down. #Travel #TravelAnxiety # #HikingTruths
