Commuting between Brooklyn and Queens is about to get a serious upgrade. The MTA just approved the full design for the Interborough Express (IBX), a new light rail that will connect 17 subway lines and speed up travel across 20 neighborhoods. No more detours through Manhattan or endless transfers—just a direct, under-40-minute ride linking nearly 900,000 residents. The IBX will use existing freight tracks, making it faster to build and less disruptive. While we’ll have to wait until the early 2030s to ride, this project could totally change how we get around. What do you think—will this transform your commute? #Transportation #NYCTransit #Brooklyn
