No such thing as a guaranteed deer bang-flop
Real talk: any decent hunting load will drop a deer. The "perfect" bullet doesn't exist - wounded runners happen regardless of caliber. What matters more? Your shooting skills, understanding anatomy, and practice from realistic positions. I've noticed higher velocity rounds like Barnes 130gr give more instant drops, but shot placement beats bullet choice every time. Match your bullet to your range - softer projectiles for distance, monos for close work. Then practice until you can deliver it accurately when it counts. #hunting #bullets ##huntingammo #deerHunting

head shots are the fastest kill shot if possible, you don't want them to run and have meat affected by adrenaline, if you plan on eating it.

I’ve shot deer 6/8 different calibers no such thing as a drop ever one in their tracks. Got to break the back bone to drop every one in their tracks I’ve killed over 300 deer

Who wrote this? I have been hunting white tail for almost 50 years and the vast majority of deer I shot went down with one shot. It’s all about bullet placement and making sure you have the correct bullet. Secondly, I wonder how many hunters spend time at the range sharpening their skills?

shot placement, last two deer I took were with handguns and they dropped right in their tracks. one with a .357 mag and the other with a .45 ACP. because I can. rifles are just to easy, takes all the challenge out, it just turns into a harvest, not a hunt. recently been using a knife and a spear to try and make it more a challenge.

That shit don't matter cause if you hit them hard enough, they do a complete three sixty sometimes in the air and whenever they land, their legs are all akimbo and they got this dumb look on their face like, 🤪. It's assome. 😲
