Snow in London Didn’t Feel Like Magic
I landed in London with five days and a list of things I thought I needed to see. On day two, it snowed—real, heavy flakes, the kind you only get in movies or postcards. Everyone around me pulled out their phones, grinning. I tried to feel lucky.
But the city slowed down, trains delayed, shoes soaked through. I stood on a bridge, watching the Thames disappear into white, and realized I wasn’t really here for the snow or the sights. I was just hoping for something to shift inside me.
Instead, I felt the same as always—just colder, a little more honest, and wishing I’d packed better socks.
