$5 homemade burger VS $25 gourmet burger — which one wins?
Yesterday, I decided to treat myself and compare two burgers: one I made at home for $5, and one from a fancy downtown spot that cost $25. Honestly, I expected the restaurant burger to blow mine out of the water.
The moment I took a bite of the $25 burger, I was… underwhelmed. The bun was slightly soggy, the patty tasted like frozen meat, and the toppings felt overcomplicated. Then I bit into my $5 homemade burger—juicy patty, perfectly toasted bun, fresh toppings, and every bite felt satisfying. I literally stared at my own burger in disbelief.
