One Year Without a Bad Mental Health Episode—Today Is My Day!
Two months ago, I shared my hope to reach a year without a bad mental health episode—and today, I made it! 🎉 Looking back, I was in a dark place: lonely, unemployed, and unsure of my future. But I took small steps—therapy, new meds, and self-help groups. I found a job, new friends, and even started a relationship.
To celebrate, I made myself a dulce de leche cake—my own version of "one day everything will be okay." I still have goals to work on, but today, I’m grateful. If you have tips for shaking off winter hibernation, I’d love to hear them! How do you celebrate your milestones?
